Why we give
Every year, Golden Grads members fund college scholarships for graduating Roosevelt seniors, chosen for financial need. It's one of the main ways classmates who walked those halls 50 or more years ago give back to the school that started them out.
Our scholarships
- Golden Grads scholarships for graduating seniors. The 2024-25 budget was $83,000.
- Special scholarships that members fund: the Roberge award, the Don Harney sports scholarships, and the Donald Strom and Jane LaFazio art and design scholarships.
Help a Roosevelt senior
Gifts to the Scholarships or Special Scholarships funds go directly to these awards. You can also give in memory or in honor of a classmate, teacher or friend.

Roosevelt grads 50 or more years out are welcome. Members get the Grapevine.
